Øresundsinstituttet

Øresundsinstituttet (the Oresund Institute) is a Danish and Swedish knowledge centre that, through analysis, fact finding, conferences and the news agency News Øresund, contribute to an increased awareness of progress in the Oresund region. Øresundsinstituttet is a non-profit organisation, with funding from more than 100 members, ranging from the state, regions, and municipalities, to universities and the private sector. Lund University is a member of Øresundsinstituttet.

The collaboration between Øresundsinstituttet and Centre for Oresund Region Studies has resulted in, for example, the conference Tempo Öresund and the book Checkpoint 2020: Människor, gränser och visioner i Öresundsbrons tid (Idvall, Palmehag, & Wessman, 2020).
