Øresundsnätverket för kønshistorisk forskning

Øresundsnätverket för kønshistorisk forskning is a network for gender history in the Oresund region. The network and CORS have overlapping research interests, and collaborate on workshops and publications.

Øresundsnätverket för kønshistorisk forskning was created in autumn 2010 as a collaboration between historians at the universities of Copenhagen, Lund and Malmö to strengthen research on gender history on both sides. The network is open to anyone interested in gender history, from students to senior researchers, to historians as well as to other subjects. Since the start, the network has held a conference every semester, in spring in Denmark and in autumn in Sweden, always on a friday afternoon and with a concluding dinner. At these meetings, short-term lectures on current gender history research are held by an equal part of of master students and senior researchers. The network also publish a newsletter containing information about courses, conferences, seminars taking place and new books produced in the Oresund region.

The coordinator for the network is Rikke Lie Halberg at the Department of History, Lund University.
